Stopped in to visit the First Second Life Church of Elvis today. Services are conducted every Sunday at noon SLT (PST). The church has a couple of different and unique locations for services. Today we were at the original building now located on Iron Fist.
It had been a long time since I had been able to attended services and I was happy with the energy coming from the community. You could feel the spirit of Elvis everywhere. The good Reverend Elvis Faust leads the congregation in uplifting old time religious experience. The church was literally rocking at the end of services today as it all ended with a Holy Hydrogen Bomb going off. Yup – BOOM!
Things I learned today at the services (in no particular order):
- Elvis was at a fancy dress part last night
- Ernest Borgnine did sit to the King’s left.
- and Lee Van Cleef sat to Elvis’s Right!
- They dined on McRibs -
- and their fancy dresses and fruit hats were sauce-stained -
- the dry cleaning bill was of extraordinary magnitude!
There were many more revelations, but you need to go to the services to learn the truth.
The last words from today – Elvis Faust: “Well gang, I guess that’s about it for the Church of Elvis this week. I hope you all enjoyed the cataclysms… and just maybe you all learned something too!”
