Time for another round up of “I am EASILY Amused” and this week I was.
- Local Comic - Subconscious Comics
- Cell Phones - Instinct vs iPhone
- Over at Laughing Squid - This American Life Segment
- As a minister of the Universal Life Church, I am not sure how to feel about this offering from SubGenius.
- Read an example of self centered logic over at the Yxes blog.
- The issue of avatar rendering cost in Second Life® is not a trade off on being beautiful or supporting creativity. It is recognizing the limitations in the metaverse and being “aware” of the effect your avatar creates on others. This measurement is intended as a tool to “show” a load on clients. It is a “tool” to measure the effect one has on ones surroundings.
- It is all about better design from builders / creators / fashion people. There are to many people doing things - adding an extra script, tortured prim, etc - and not realizing the effect they are having on others.
- Of course, those who know not will miss the point as seen in this post. So just pat them on the head and smile.
- I needed some “New York” this week. So I tuned back into Keith and the Girl. I am usually good for a few shows with them but when Chemda starts pontificating on subjects that she has not clue about, I just want to strangle her. Keith is a whole other issue.
- Weird America - spent some time there
- I enjoyed The Art of Pranks site.
- And finally the man! - Jonathan Coulton’s Code Monkey.
