My 11:00 am conference call was canceled at the last minute and since I was prepared for my next call at 11:30 am, I knew that if I got into another project, I would forget the next call. So instead of checking the refrig for snackables or just blog-reading, I decided to do something semi-productive.

Go mining.

With the usual Tuesday World of Warcraft shutdown ending at 11:00 am, I jumped in at 10:59 and was surprised to see that I got in right away. Looking around Iron Forge, I realized I was one of the first ones in so that ment that the miners had not got in. So off I went to Searing Gorge via Gryphon where I made two laps around the area then jumped through Blackrock Mountain into Searing Steppes. In exaclty 29 minutes I mined the following:

• 12 Thorium Ore
• 29 Mithril Ore
• 4 Gold Ore
• 7 Dark Iron Ore
• 2 Iron Ore
• 12 Dense Stone
• 41 Solid Stone
• 1 Arcane Crystal

Pretty good mining run! And I was the first one on the call at 11:30 am.
