Introductions by Chad Davies, COO, Digital Media Factory
Jeremy Neuner, City of Santa Cruz Economic Development Manager

Professor Michael Mateas, UCSC Computer Science, on the future of computer games and digital media with a focus on deep procedurality

Professor Warren Sack, UCSC Digital Arts and New Media, on the future of digital media in game design with a focus on innovative directions in digital media in the future of gaming technology

A selected industry panel to be announced responds to the speeches by UCSC Professors Mateas and Sack; questions and comment from the floor

Networking and refreshments

There will be a live display open from 3:00 - 7:00 PM in Room 2 showing the range and development of design skills in the Santa Cruz education community. It will include a project display by senior student projects from the School of Engineering Computer Game Design program, other graphics and game-related senior capstone projects, graduate games and graphics, and Digital Arts and New Media student projects.
