Sorry, for not updating Bananaverse. Between work and social, I have not been sleeping, nor had any time for the blog. But here is some quick news of what I have been doing.
On the work front, I am knee deep in four projects including some fun stuff with Cisco and a cool sim development for a fun company to be named. I will include a couple photos of the sim as of earlier this week and when it launches, will provide all of the details.
I have been experimenting with sculpties and realize that they are great for some things but not so good for other items. If you want to see an excellent place, check out Rustic. I am still waiting for some genius to make sculptie modules that can be licensed for resale. At Rustic, they offer modules but you can not transfer them. They should look at a pricing scheme that allows SL developers to license the modules so we can build with them then transfer.
Meta Magic Studio™ is busy with work both in Second Life® and web 2.0 social platforms. Jen and David have been putting in major hours lately. It looks like a good year for us.
On the social front, last weekend was our annual Wharf to Barf H3 four day liver thumper where over 80 of my best friends showed up and made me drink… and drink… and run… and drink.. and run…
I hared on Friday with Hairy Potter and on Sunday with Pearl Necklace. Saturday’s trail was set by Ralph Crammed In and Jizzbollah.
Also should give a shout out to Kim Thomas who finished 48th in the Wharf to Wharf on Sunday. What a stud! lol. (she will hate being called a stud!) I was first in drinking bloody mary’s and got a great kick out of watching a 90 year lady eat jello-shots with a spoon.
And finally I am once again plugging live-streamer KONA. And I am very happy to say that Meta Magic Studio is now a proud sponsor. — I caught Jen dancing the other night to ABBA – both in SL and in RL.
Banana thinking…..
