On August 2, I posted an entry on my New Shoes. I got a few comments in SL about them and a few suggestions where I could find similar types. So this morning, while I was waiting for a client meeting to start, I checked out Happy Bivouac on Koreshan.
The store features World War I inspired cyber punk clothing. And I found some new boots. As seen, these have more detail to them and “look” tougher. The creator Penny Patton has this posted:
I don’t generally do the typical Victorian era, Jules Vern style steampunk prevalent in SL. Most of my designs are more 1920′s pulp adventure style. Zeppelin style airships, prop planes, rocket packs. Though I have seen lots of people using my avatars and accessories in everything from Victorian steampunk to Mad Max style post-apocalyptic settings, to cyberpunk cities of the future.
I opened my first shop in Crimson Falls on 04/20/2006. That location, now Koreshan, is still my main store.

I also purchased two pairs of goggles and a german-stye helmet (see picture) plus some new gloves. Lots of cool items there.

Since I still had some more time, I visited Gritty Kitty and Chicanery also on Koreshan. The yellow stocking hat is from Chicanery. Note the banana button!
