Meta Magic Studio had been putting off purchasing an open space sim on the Second Life® Grid for six months due to thinking about doing a sim on the OpenSim grid. But after reviewing that space, it was decided that we should go ahead and drop the cash for the open space sim on Second Life grid.

So today, I ordered the Meta Magic Studio sim to be placed south of Los Arboles and east of Blakslee World. It is an open space sim, which means there are only 3,500 prims available but the cost was only $250 US plus only $75 US a month for rent. The sim will mostly be water with a small land portion on the south / west side of the sim. We will have a landmark giver to the Meta Magic Studio display area on Los Arboles.

I imagine that this new sim will be every changing, with an orientation towards kinetic art builds.

I ordered the sim through the Linden Lab land store which is a vast improvement over the old land purchase web process, but they need to work on the ability to order land next to sims that you own. I had to purchase the sim in an open space, then open a ticket to get it moved and I am hoping that I do not get charged for a move.
