Tonight is the draft for my main fantasy football league, the Trash Talkers. There are ten of us in the league which started back in 1999. It is amazing that seven of us started in the first year and are still in. One member moved away and the other two got booted a few years back for not participating.
We use the Yahoo Fantasy Football Plus system which gives us 25 categories of scoring, and our league scores. The average score per team, per week is in the mid-200 range. You got to know your players, including defensive players.
As reigning league champion – three out of the last four years – I will be drafting in the ten spot, so I am not expecting to get a league stud. But with slots 10, then 11, I should be able to get two real good running backs.
