Today was a big day for those of us who play World of Warcraft with the big 3.0 patch release.  Lots of new goodies to explore and exploit before the big King expanion coming in November.  I was looking forward to jumping in this afternoon for a quick lunch-time session, but found out that the realms would not be ready until 2:00 pm PST.

I was looking forward to checking out the game’s newly added barber shop, in-game calendar, achievement system, Inscription profession and the new Stormwind Harbor.

As per usual with patches that alter the game’s skill tree, every player will be given a free talent respec for each of their characters on logging into the world.

The delay was understandable due to the large amount of upgrades.  Heck the patch included a download of 1.2GB.  But here it is at 3:20 pm PST and my main realm is still not available.  Blah :)  Back to work for me.
