For those of you that follow me on Twitter (https://twitter.com/BananaSteinBash), you know that at 3:30 am Monday, Mr. Muggins (super dog) and a skunk had a very brief but stinky encounter. While this was not the first time this has happened and most likely not the last, it was memorable for one item. This skunk got his stank on real good.
While Mr. Muggins was “victorious” in the battle, the skunk sure did a job on him. The old dog smells bad – and that is after three washings on Monday.
So this morning I went down to Pet Smart and got me some new washing soaps. I am now using a product called Nature’s Miracle Skunk Order Removal which was recommended by one to the Pet Smart’s longer time employees. According the the site the product is an unique formula with natural enzymes to neutralize skunk oils that cause skunk odor. My initial reaction on using it was that I could “smell” a vinegar / medical solution. But it did cut into that skunk smell.
Mr. Muggins is currently in the back yard wondering why he has had four baths….
