Back with another Music Thursday and we present Elton John with Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds recorded from Cher’s TV show from 1974. Damn!
I saw Elton in 1976 when I was in eight grade. I went with a friend whose older sister could drive us up to Oakland. Looking back on it, I remember the she being so old to me when in reality she was 16.
As for the show, I remember we thought it was great but in few years it was no longer “cool” to like Elton.
