One Year Lost

Lost in Bananaverse past the one year mark yesterday which is some what notable. I realize that the few people who take the time to read this blog most likely would not know about this milestone. Hell, I almost forgot.

Originally I envisioned this blog to be an extension of my virtual world effort with some humor.  Then I wanted to talk more about Santa Cruz and other issues of the day.  Then I decided just to make it about what was happening in Bananaverse.

Yet this effort to date has not satisfied me.  I find that time is so precious and limited, that Lost in Bananaverse does not get enough attention. I have great intentions to write more, especially on virtual worlds, but it seems that every time I sit down to put in the effort, something happens to break my attention and effort.  Just attempting to write this entry has been interrupted three times.

Time has become more important to me lately. Maybe that happens with age. Maybe it is normal.

Looking back on years worth of entries, I have posted 309 entries, with the most being about Second Life. Now I know most people have never entered this world, but I still believe in the concept. Unfortunately the technology is still in its infant stages and I fear that it will crash before it can morph into the world wide concept that was featured in Snow Crash.

I also have written a little about Santa Cruz. I need to do lots more on it. This little piece of weird land is to special not to give a better effort.

Well, more is needed, especially time.

Well… Happy Birthday Lost in Bananaverse.
