Trying to keep up with the latest news is always an issue but especially for small companies. Over the last year, we at Meta Magic Studio have tried various ways of keeping up with the information flow. All in an attempt of trying to separate the news from the noise.
What is tougher is trying to get the information to each other in some sort of organized system versus just emailing each other. After much trial and error, we have settled on using Google Reader and the “Shared Items” tool. This way we can easily post articles that we find of importance and want to shares with each other in timely and systematic order. This is a great thing in that I personally track about 30 blogs and about 15 other websites.
I am also going to share my reader with the readers of this blog. It can be found at http://www.google.com/reader/shared/04987895201838304254. I have also built a widget called “Banana’s Shared Reading” that I have placed on the right side column of the blog.
