Banana in Open Source Metaverse

One small step for Banana, one large jump in his pursuit of metaverse domination.   lol

Tonight I entered Open Source Metaverse.   Talk about deja vu.  Reminded me of entering Second Life over three years ago.   With a total population of 16,978, with only 29 people on line, I knew it would be pretty devoid of life.  And it was.  So far there are 2,264 regions to explore and they have had 2,675 unique visitors in the last 30 days.

I arrived “Ruthed” in LBSA Plaza.  Being an “experienced” avatar master, I immediately attempted to change my appearance, and while I was able to make some adjustments, there is a long way to go in that department.  But no worries, I was able to upload some pants and shirts, so at least I looked a little better.

Scanning the landscape, I immediately recognized the original Linden plant life and recognized the building prims of Second Life.  Now to find a place to build.  It took a few minutes to find a spot, but I was soon rezing up prims.

As for functionality, it is not there yet, or at least on the 8 different sims I checked out.  Lots of graphic and movement issues. 2264

But it was fun to check this new world out.  If you are involved there, look me up.  I am Banana Stein.
