Day 25 of the house remodel and things are moving along real well.  The city inspector came by today and gave everything a pass on the framework and electrical.  The electrical wiring in this whole area has been upgraded and completely rewired plus we added some additional light sockets and electrical power outlets.  All the plumbing and vents have been installed.  New and improved insulation has been installed plus work on air vents in the roof /ceiling to help keep the back of the house cool during summer.

Next step starting tomorrow is the installation of sheet rock which should be done by this weekend so things are on schedule.

Rounded doorway into laundry and 1/2 bath area

As you can see in the above picture, the doorway into the laundry and 1/2 bath section of the remodel has been rounded in order to match the doorway entrance into the kitchen.

In the picture below, you can see the wiring for the light fixtures for the bay window area.  On the outside, a cooper roof will be installed over the bar window.
