What a pile of crap. Short-term thinking. Leno - old Leno fans - old Letterman - old failed late night hosts - many to risk losing Conan for short-term success - idiotic to think a Leno-type program would work outside of Late Night - stupid expect a big payoff to Conan (at least the offer) or a big sendoff as he goes elsewhere... perhaps the Bananaverse?! Hash Night with Conan O'Brien? I thought the same thing last night.
