468 Prims

Back when Meta Magic Studio had two sims, the use of prims was rarely a subject.  While I am a firm believer in less is better especially when it comes to prims, having access to thousands of prims allowed me to build and build.

So when we gave up the sims back in November, we purchased a small plot of land on the mainland in the Hattori sim just so our avatars could have a home and so I could occasionally do some building.  The only restriction I have is that I only have 468 prims.  468?!?  The last time I had that few to build with was back in May of 2006.

So far I have used 379 of them creating a MMS info hub and small park.  I will be redesigning the info hub to reduce the number of prims.  Currently the build is from the MMS entrance that was on Los Arboles.  The build uses 33 prims which is I want to reduce to around 20-25.

Every few days I get the urge to buy more land but the thought of giving Linden Lab anymore money without clients is just to much to stomach.  So if you see me buying land, you know that we have gotten a client.  lol

As for being back on the mainland, it has been good for me to see and build on it again.  Also watching all of the new people around me has been interesting though very few do any actual building.  Almost all of my neighbors purchase their homes and landscaping.    I should be more social with my neighbors but I just do not have the energy plus most of them seem pretty wrapped up in their new virtual lifestyles.
