For those not following Tim “Jesus Freak” Tebow’s decision to star in commercial for anti-choice that will be shown during the Super Bowl, here are a couple of Banana-thoughts. While this decision might make him feel good but will cost him in the long run.
Already there were lots of questions in regards to his football abilities, notably the questions surrounding basic mechanics like footwork and turning his back to the defense, fundamentals most quarterbacks have converted to second nature long before they show up for NFL auditions. In recent Senior Bowl practices, Tebow was noted for fumbling center snaps, holding onto the ball too long, locking onto receivers and throwing wobbly passes. None of these are good.
The spot, funded by the conservative Christian group Focus on the Family, is expected to tell the story of Pam Tebow, who became ill during her pregnancy with Tim but refused doctor recommendations to have an abortion.
Pro-choice groups are calling for Super Bowl broadcaster CBS to reject the spot, but the network is standing firm, according to CBS News. In fact, producers said they would consider accepting any other “responsibly produced” advocacy ads for broadcast
But how many NFL teams want to divide their fans along the toxic line of abortion?!?
I see Canada in his football future.

Teams will have no problem splitting their fan base for the right talent level. (See Michael Vick). Tebow may go down as an all-time great at the college level but I just don’t see him as being more than a journey man “athlete” at the pro level. No way he plays QB unless someone finally sells out and installs the spread as their primary offense.
